The Brilliance of Being Human

I watch the Being Human show.  It's brilliant beyond belief, and I hope it's a faithful clone of the BBC original.

Not for the potentially tired premise, and not for the marginally contrived per-episode short-arc stories.  It's for the long-arc stories, and for the highly credible writing, for characters who aren't heroes or villains, but real, and it's for scenes like this one.

Insanely brilliant.  Fucking insane.

And every single episode has this time-stopping kind of money shot or pic in the episode; something that makes you go 'oooooohhhh' and reflect.

Yeah, the larger story is impressive, and the first season looks to have ended exactly as it should have, and needed to, and there's money shots all over the place.  But it's the little points of brilliance that make up this dark little interlude run.

Having said that, I expect it to be canceled within the year.  If it were Fox, it would already be dead.
