Update

I've been sleeping poorly.  It's reduced my blog time, indirectly.  Here's what my Friday morning looked like:

• 0230 - sleep/crash
• 0244 - regional power hit.  One UPS begins panic-whining constantly
• 0400 - cat begins chasing crane fly.  on ceiling.  of bedroom.  ABOVE HUMANS.  Much stepping-on of heads ensued.
• 0500 - second UPS discovered failed, whining, downstairs.  Work(state) lost.
• 0512 - back to bed
• 0730 - up for work.  Let's be brilliant, kids.

That's one morning.  Considering as I was trying to sleep off the labyrinthitis, I have to chalk this one up in the Failed list.

And this is why we can't have kids -- I can barely survive computers and cats.
